Kids Food Basket

Join a group of Lakeside women on the first Wednesday of every month to volunteer at Kids’ Food Basket. For two hours, you’ll participate in creating nourishing sack-suppers for our area’s most at-risk children. Kids’ Food Basket seeks to attack childhood hunger and now services over 6,000 children in the Greater Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas. By providing meals for children who would likely go without dinner, Kids’ Food Basket addresses the critical developmental need of a child’s brain and body with nutrition.

While a monthly commitment is not mandatory, one visit to help prepare sack suppers will have a lasting impact on your heart. Meet in the lower parking lot at 6:00pm or at Kids’ Food Basket at 6:30pm
