In addition, he is available for pastoral counseling needs that may arise in the life of the church. He and his wife, Sara, graduated in 2009 from Kuyper College, finished their Master's Degrees from Calvin Theological Seminary in 2012, and have been serving at Lakeside ever since.

Jamie De Vries

Director of Worship and Student Ministries

For the past decade Jamie has served as worship leader and music director in various capacities.  Just over the course of the past three years however, he has begun the journey of becoming a pastor.  God’s call on his life has led him to Western Theological Seminary and to adding youth ministry as a major focus.
On Sunday you will find him leading worship in the morning and hanging out with students in the afternoon.  His hobbies include gardening, hunting, and learning how to play new instruments.  His passion is to follow God’s leading which brought him here to Lakeside Community in June of 2015.  As he continues to study, lead worship, and contribute to the discipleship of students, he knows God will guide his life and hopes that he will be used to inspire congregations and students to engage deeply in their faith.  Contact him anytime with questions about the Lakeside Student Ministry program or if you would like to participate in the area of music.

Denise Dykgraaf

Custodian

Thanks to the tireless work of our church custodian, Denise Dykgraaf, we are able to put the building of Lakeside to use week after week for kingdom causes.

From general cleaning, set up/tear down of event materials and a constant attention to detail, no corner of our building goes unnoticed or untouched. For those of you who enjoy a cappucino or hot chocolate on a Sunday morning, she takes care of that, too! The Lakeside family is grateful for Denise's ability to keep the church running.

Should you notice a problem that would need attention, please do not hesitate to call the office or leave a note in Denise's communicator box for her to pick up during the work week.
